Economic stimulus collection?
I am a full-time stay at home mom for our 10 month old son. We be just wondering if I still qualify as a "taxpayer?" Will we receive the $1200 as a couple or will we purely receive $600 for my husband? We file taxes in concert and I was working for a couple months contained by 2007 before our son be born. Does anyone have an answer to this?Answers: As long as you profile jointly for 2007, you will catch the rebate amount for each of you.
If you folder jointly, you will receive a rebate base on your TOTAL income and tax liability.
You would be eligible to receive a rebate of up to $1200 if you compensated that much in Federal Income Tax. If you solitary paid $750 contained by taxes (less than the $1200 rebate limit), you only bring back $750. If you have earned income of at tiniest $3000, you would get at most minuscule the minimum rebate of $300 each. If you qualify for a rebate, you will find an extra $300 for your child.
Retires living on retired pay and social security eligible for the rebate?
Answers: If you don't have to file a tax return, but you got at least $3,000 in Social Security and want the rebate, you need to fill out a 1040A form (sample attached first link) and only fill in the parts that aren't blacked out. It is pretty easy and straight forward. No need to see a professional. The second link is a blank 1040A form.
Yes, at least $300 each. You have to file a federal tax return for the year though, even if you aren't legally required to file. And don't pay someone to prepare it - if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself, see https://locator.aarp.org/vmis/sites/tax_... to find a TCE site near you - they'll do your return at no charge. You don't have to be an AARP member to use this service.
IRS Refund?
The IRS says they deposited to my sandbank account on 1/25/08. My dune still does not see this deposit. I know I gave the IRS the correct information, because on the tariff software I only inputted my sandbank information once, and my State refund have already went through. What time of the time does the IRS usually release the refunds for direct deposit? How is it that the guard cannot see this deposit yet? Does anyone know how this works? I am getting worried.Answers: The ACH transmittals step out Thursday evening normally. How long it take your bank to return with it into your account is up to your sandbank. If they batch process next it was run Friday evening and may be after that today before it shows up surrounded by your account.
If you're beside a small community bank or credit confederation that isn't on the Fedline system it can take an other 2 to 5 business days to post.
Not all bank have the wherewithal to see pending ACH transactions.
It have NOTHING to do with Block, any. It's between the IRS and your bank, nobody else.
More than possible, it should be there today (1/28 or 1/29). My repayment always appears on the sunshine after it was deposited.
