Can i report my return if i don't own my 1099-misc all the same...?
i worked part of the year for a corporation and enjoy received my w2. the last 4 months of the year i worked as an independent contractor from my home. do i HAVE to dawdle for the 1099-misc or can i go ahead and profile without it. i know EXACTLY how much i made (to the penny) from my invoices.Answers: Yes, you can directory with what you own. The 1099MISC is not attached to your return anyway. That info is carried to the SCHC or the C-EZ, whichever you use. So, go ahead and profile.
I agree with Nancy.
But something you may want to check on is whether Congress (and the IRS) own settled all the embark on changes on how some items (deductions, exemptions, etc.) are to be deal with. I know something like a month age there be still some questions still unreciprocated. If you know an accountant friend you might want to check with him/her.
However, even if you folder and then find that some things changed, you can other file an "amended return".
If you own to pay, I would hold bad, but if you are getting a refund, later go ahead & report now.
If your annals are correct, you can go ahead and database without waiting for the 1099 as long as you enjoy any W-2's you will be getting.

It looks like you get it right.
According to MSN, here's how the rebates are human being figured at this point: The rebate are tied to a reduction of the 10% bracket from 10% to not anything for the first $6,000 of taxable income in 2008.
So if your excise liability is less than $600, you capture only what you salaried in taxes hindmost.
An exeption is made for workers who didn't earn enough to pay cheque income tax but have earned income of at lowest $3,000 would be eligible for a $300 rebate, or $600 for couples filing as one.
