Taxes Questions and Answers

If I introduction a saloon from the USA into Southern Ireland, do I hold to clear VAT on it?

I'm hearing that import cars into Southern Ireland are VAT exempt, but also hearing that they are not. Can anyone clear that up for me. I would really appreciate it.

Answers: The Republic of Ireland is still inside the European Union so therefore yes, you will own to pay excise on a car import from the US.
any car from outside the eu will requirement to be tax compensated before its registered. the registration bureau won't register it without acknowledgement from customs that the given vehicle's taxes are accounted for. by accounted for, i niggardly either remunerated, or a declaration have been put forward and standard to say why the individual doesn't own to pay it (international verbs of residency for example, or received under diplomatic privaleges). this rule applies everything country the car is import into.

hope this helps.x

Unemployment import tax support?

Ok So i have be getting Unemployment for 6 months now and i in recent times got my W-2 from my ex employer but the information dont make sense im sure i made more than what it shows. My sound out is are the wages already deducted from my dismissal wages or how does this work? will i recieve a diff. W-2 from the state? Will they add up contained by the end? Please aid?

Answers: Your past employer solitary issues you a W-2 showing the wages they paid you. The company did not money the unemployment wages that you received, the state did. Employers money an unemployment duty (SUTA) but not the actual wages you received.

Also you will be receiving a separate statement from your state that will show the job loss compensation on it.
your employer will issue a W-2 for the time you worked there. This amount should agree near your last check from the employer.

you job loss will come to you on 1099-G by the way be prepared most state's do not reduce by taxes from unemployment
The State will distribute you a 1099 -- then you can settle income tax on the money compensated to you...

What will the my rates return be this year?

Here's the information
Earned Income - 29,614.20
Federal Withheld - 107.70
State Withheld - 62.00
4 dependents
3 children
Well, what's my return gonna be?

Answers: if you only salaried 107.70 you get no compensation

Refund will never be more than you paid.
Your charge return will be a piece of paper. It's the forms you convey to the IRS. Maybe you're asking how much of a REFUND you might get?

Can't speak about you what your refund might be from the infomation provided. You read out 3 children by 4 dependents. What is the relationship of the 4th dependent to you? And what it your marital status and what is your file status. Need to know that information to crunch the numbers.

Edit: Still can't say. Who is this "significant other?" If it's your spouse and you live together afterwards she is not a dependent. You can file a collective return and will get 2 personal exemptions that style, plus 3 for the 3 kids. Please clarify the "significant other" thing, though, as it sounds approaching something funny is going on here.

Assuming that you're married and filing a mutual return with 3 children who live within your home, you're looking at a refund of something like $4,924.00. Your total tax liability is $191 but to be exact wiped out by the Child Tax Credit. You should be eligible for a refundable EIC reward of $2,136.00 and a refundable Additional Child Tax Credit of $2,679.

Don't know what your State return will look like. You didn't read aloud what State you live in. I'd guess that you'll owe a few hundred contained by State income taxes though as most states don't have anything close to the EIC or ACTC to fall wager on on.
