Is a new wood stove tax deductible?
Answers: If it is for your home, no, but it might increase the basis in your home (for calculation of the capital gain when you sell it).
If it is for your business, yes, but you have to depreciate it, not deduct it all at once.
for what reason?
Which is better... Turbo Tax or Tax Cut?
Answers: Turbo Tax is by far the better product. They are constatnly updating the software, and forms are up to date. easy to follow step by step directions. I've tried the other dreck out there... nothing compares.
One year I asked for tax software for xmas and got tax cut
I hated it so much I went out and bought turbotax
I do have to say that I had been using turbo tax prior to the year I got tax cut so it could be that I was just used to the other
but I seriously think that tax cut is an inferior product!

and if you get it free -as a poster above stated- expect to get exactly what you paid for !
I have been using turbo tax for the past 4 years.. i absolutely love it..
State taxes from overseas?
i live overseas as a dependent, i'm trying to figure out if I hold to pay state excise and how to do itwe just moved over here within may and I was working within AZ and paying taxes there, presently i'm working in japan paying federal taxes for US but they aren't witholding any state taxes from me, my payroll department isn't really helpfull (told me to ask duty expert they don't know and we don't have any toll office stretch out yet) how should I file for state charge or pay state export tax?
last year me and my husband file separate state taxes
please help
Answers: You must record fed taxes, without a doubt. If you still claim a legal residence within AZ, you still need to record for state taxes for the whole year. If you don't, you must reimburse for the part of the year contained by which you did claim residency, in which shield, you need a levy advisor.
