Married within 2007, wife nonresident alien applying for green card, married file separately on 2007 return?

Since I've been a resident in a foreign country for the entire year of 2007, I'm claiming my income under the foreign income exclusion. My wife have no US income. Should I file as married file separately and write Non-resident Alien in place of her social deposit number? I have to include the return contained by part of her irreversible resident application.

Answers: Go ahead and file MFS, head off the field blank and attach a memorandum saying that you choose not to report her at this time.

The service center will process it.

Then you've got until 4/15/2011 to amend it to MFJ if you choice.
Not sure I understood adjectives that you said but if neither of you earnt any income here in the US later why not file in concert?

Immigration frowns on foreign spouses being file separately. They will want detailed information about why you did it that opening. In triplicate!

When I came over from the UK to grasp married to my US wife the Immigration people be indignant that we had seperate dune accounts and didn't have credit cards near both of our names on. So any plea they can find to deny her residency...they will use it.

Question in the order of mispelling on w2 forms as okay as ssn dictum 0..?

I worked at this really crappy job for in the region of three months last year on my checks my nickname was spelt stacy stroble which is wrong my heading is actually spelled stacey struble and my w2s are spelled as below... within addition to never fixing this error they hold under my SSN the number 0 thats it... i made 1500 in that and im wondering if i should even file it and if I do wallet it will I have a HUGE problem? Id approaching to fix it or forget about it so I can receive my money...

Answers: Call the employer and tell them they obligation to issue you a corrected W-2 with your social wellbeing number on it. The spelling of your name on the W-2 isn't a big concordat, although they might as well fix that too while they are fixing the other problem.

If child is over 21 and child support is still owed can tax return be held when it is being taken from pay?

Answers: yes because the child support still goes to the parent that you needed to pay the child support to when the kid was under 18..there arent any new charges these are old ones...
Yes-You will be seeing nothing-

Child is over 21...you owe alot, huh?---Deadbeat dads turn my stomache
Sorry once the kid turns 21 there aint much you can do. My father was awesome but never once paid child support and once we turned 21 the courts told my mom to leave them alone there was no more they could do at that point even tho he owed from years before. Sorry!
