If I worked and lived surrounded by 2 different states during 2007 do I report seperate toll forms ?
I lived in Florida and Massachusetts for 2007 and also worked within both these states. I was wondering since I've never have to file out of state taxes previously until now if I requirement to file them seperate or adjectives together?Answers: You need to profile everything together for your federal taxes, and you also need to record partial resident returns for both states in which you lived and worked. Every state is different, but within will be a line item, or some instrument to deduct the amount of income that you did not earn surrounded by that state.
it sounds confusing but it really isn't. Just make sure you follow the directions, and you will be fine. If you enjoy any questions, please desire the help of a charge consultant.
I believe what you need to do is folder taxes in the LAST state you are living surrounded by, then folder a different form in the other state to verbs any income taxes you paid there-since you no longer live at hand they should have to rebate them. Many society up here in New Hampshire work within VT-and each year record taxes in NH, afterwards file for return of income tax taken out by the Vermont business they worked contained by.
I can't find what I did with my w2 can I go to a website to print another out?
Answers: That depends on whether your employer participates in an online W-2 sharing program. Check the website below to see whether your employer participates. If not, then call your employer to get a duplicate.
No, but your employer can easily print you another one. Notify your Human Resources department that you lost it and they can get another to you.
If you are lucky, they can print it out right then, however, it might have to be mailed from a corporate location, depending on the size and location of your company and its main office.
Good luck!
The W2 form is what your employer has to send YOU, by Jan. 31st by law. If you lost it, immediately talk to him (or the bookkeeper if they use one) and get a new one.
There is NO website that you can go to for another copy. Having that information on a website would be a goldmine for identity theft-because it would have ALL your personal information needed to make a false identity at your expense.
If you mean the form YOU have to fill out, that's the W4 form-and you can get them free at any postoffice and possibly a printable copy off the goverment website.
Can someone comfort me digit this total out!?
