Can i use my last pay stub to do my taxes online or do i need my w2?
Answers: Yes, you can use your last pay stub but the tax forms will ask you for information from "Box 9", as an example, and if you have the W-2 it's a lot easier.
Also, depending on how you file your taxes, the IRS likes to see the actual W-2 and not just the last pay stub, it makes them less suspicious.
Yes you can use your last paystub of 2007, as long as you know your employes Federal ID #. I have had to do this before. If you lost it, like I did a couple years ago, you can contact the IRS, or ask your HR for another copy. It might cost you $5, but its up to you! Or wait til you get the original. They have to go out in the mail no later than today.
Is taxslayer.com only for the military? Thank you.?
Answers: No, it isn't. I've used taxslayer the past couple years and I'm not in the military-the site is really easy to use and a lot cheaper than going somewhere.
No. Why would you think that? It's for anyone that wants to pay $9.95 to do their taxes on line.
On my w2 form it says gross pay minus per diem non taxable do i have to claim this on income tax papers? gg?
Answers: No, you do not include per diem pay in your gross wages for tax purposes, this is money that has already been taxed
