TurboTax put somebody through the mill?
I got the best Turbo Tax (Family and Business). It say it is for single owner LLCs. I have a partnership LLC - newly myself and a friend.Anyone know if I can still use software for this - and what it is??
Answers: Sorry, but you can't use that version. That text won't prepare the Form 1065 Partnership return that you need to profile.
You need to also buy TurboTax Business Edition. It's obvious on the package as for Corporations, Partnerships and LLCs.
yes i agree i would use business edition online

To re-file for taxes? I already filed my taxes this year and im getting a return. I a short time ago recieved tax papers within the mail stating I needed it to report with my taxes it be from my school. I be already told that the man who did my taxes probably didnt do them correctly and now next to this new quality newspaper I am unsure of what to do. I was told I should return with it ammended or something? Can anyone shed a little oil lamp on this?Answers: Wait for the first tax return to process.
Then painstakingly review your tax return. If nearby are mistakes or omissions, consequently you get to report a 1040X. This is a glorified spreadsheet that shows what you originally filed and what you designed to file and the differences (plus or minus) between the two. You attach an explanation and attach any missing forms and mail it to the IRS. If you owe, try to procure it done by 4/15.
The 1098-T is a reminder that tuition money was spent and I don`t know you had a exhibition. If some of your scholarships be taxable and you left them past its sell-by date the return, this is an income issue. if you are not a dependent and you could have have a deduction for tuition (or a credit), next you would want to amend if this would lower your taxes.
Once you get your settlement, file an amended return on form 1040X. (You may also call for to amend your state income tax return if the background affects that return.)
I enjoy not received my W2 from my employer on the other hand what can i do?
today suppose to be the the deadline for employers to distribute out there w2 forms but I hold received mine and i was gonna buy a vehicle and move into a new apartment I call my supervisor and he said it would be in the messages how long should I waitAnswers: They hold up until today to MAIL them. It may take a few days surrounded by the mail to carry it.
the rule is not that it needs to be contained by your hand by the 31st, but that the w2's involve to be postmarked by the 31st.
that means, they are probably mail it out to you today. you should receive your w2's within 3-5 business days.
..filch care! :)
The IRS won't do anything to intervene until after February 15. If you haven't received it by that time, contact the IRS at (800) 829-1040. They can initiate a complaint, and if you still fall through to get one, Form 4598, Form W-2 or 1099 Not Received or Incorrect, will be sent to the employer and a copy will be sent to you along near Form 4852 (PDF), Substitute for Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement, or Form 1099-R, Distributions from Pensions, Annuities, Retirement or Profit-Sharing Plans, IRAs, Insurance Contracts, etc. The copy that the employer receives will insist on him or her of the employer's responsibilities to provide a correct Form W-2 (PDF) and of the penalties for dead loss to do so. When you call the IRS or stop by an IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center (TAC), please have the following information available:
* Your employer's autograph and complete address, including zip code, employer christening number (if known - see prior year's Form W-2 (PDF) if you worked for like peas in a pod employer), and telephone number,
* Your designation, address, including zip code, social wellbeing number, and telephone number; and
* An estimate of the wages you earn, the federal income tax withheld, and the time you worked for that employer. The estimate should be based on year-to-date information from your final settle up stub or leave-and-earnings statement, if possible.
If you directory your return and attach Form 4852 (PDF) to support the withholding amount claimed instead of a Form W-2 (PDF), your refund can be delayed while the information you give us is verified.
If you receive a Form W-2 (PDF) after you file your return and it does not agree next to the income or withheld tax you reported on your return, database an amended return on Form 1040X (PDF), Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return.
