I've already filed my return before Jan 31 butI received a 1099 in the mail what should I do?

Answers: Do an Ammended form with the information from the 1099
Before filing a 1040X make sure you have not already included the income on your return. Since you are to report all self-employment income regardless of whether you receive a 1099 for it, it should already be on the Schedule C you filed.

If it is not included, you will need to complete a 1040X, along with a revised Schedule C and Schedule SE.
file an ammended return..or the good folks at the IRS might even catch your mistake
