Taxes Questions and Answers

My husband does not have any income for 2007. How are we to file this year? We have not encountered this b4.

Answers: You still file as married but he doesn't have to bring in a W-2.
Did you have income?
File as a married couple.
married - is he disabled?
im pretty sure you still have to file jointly since you both get the marriage credits and bens. talk with your accountant and make sure you have the paperwork to back yourselves up. peace!
No need to file-you aren't required to pay income taxes if you had no income.
No income=no tax liability.
You may wish to claim your husband as a dependent.
There is no need to file if he has no income. I would claim his as a dependent on your return to increase your return.
Did you work? What was your income? Do you have dependents? Did he collect unemployment? Need more info in order to answer correctly.
If you worked and he didn't, then you can file as Head of Household, and claim him as a dependent.
Did you have an income from any source ? If so,then you need to file.Did your husband have ANY type of income? Social Security? Comp benefits? Insurance benefits, anything at all? Do you have children? If so,you might qualify for the 'Earned Income' benefit.Call the IRS and ask!! They won't come after you for just calling and talking to them!
He doesn't have to file. But you can file Married, but seperate and head of household a claim him as a dependent.
Just file jointly and declare him with no income.
Was your husband collecting unemployment or were you living off your salary? If you are the soul supporter then you can file a joint return showing that he was dependant on you - if he collected unemployment you will receive something from the unemployment office - 1099 to use for your taxes. If he collected disability then that takes different rules - I'm not a tax expert - I am a stay at home mom without an income and I am always on my husbands taxes - I would contact an accountant if I were you and explain your situation - the IRS is too serious to mess around with - it will be worth the money and the peace of mind - gee I sound like an H&R Block commercial. Seriously, get people to help you - professionals - not worth owing the IRS. Best of Luck :)
you can still file togather I would use the tax calculator at hrblock to see if you should file sperate or togather.

Can I claim my two nephews?

I helped my sister second year buying dipers and milk for the babies, she didn't claimed them because she didn't work and their father either...

Answers: Only if they lived beside you and you provided the majority of support for them.
If nobody else claims them, yes, definitely do so!

Is the Earned Income Tax Credit(EIC)separate from regular duty innards?

Well I already sent my 2008 1040 form for tax purposes and I specting to find $5900.00 reimbursement.
But someone told me about claiming the EIC reimbursement too
since I enjoy 4 qualifing children ,,,,Should I need to flood in separate or it is already on my actual reimbursement?
if someone know please help me .

Answers: What be your income? I would be happy to look it over for you but lacking knowing your income, marital status and federal withholding I would be inept to say. I'll check backbone to see if you'e added anything to your post. You can qualify for the EIC on two children and the additonal child tax credit for the other two.
EIC is *part* of your rates return. To claim it with children, you be to attach a schedule EIC.

If your compensation is $5900, I truly believe that if you are eligible, it's in nearby.

Your income would have to be smaller quantity than $36K.
It depends on how much you made in 2007 I also own 4 children and my refund be $7600. It also depends on you fed withholding. Look on your charge return and see what it says on the queue for EIC if it says 0 and you are entitled to it you can wallet a 1040x amended form and get the rest of your money.
