Taxes Questions and Answers

Intended rises again?

-prices of petrol are intended to rise again in the hard by future, how long since this continual escalation of fuel price forces motorists to revolt.
? Road Tax. license fees, congestion charges, fuel Tax, the catalogue is endless.
It in recent times cannot be justfied, we must be the heaviest taxed country within the world.
I wish someone who have the knowledge, would explain how right is it that the political affairs taxes petrol to such a high scope?
If that tax alone be reduced to a =decent= level the burden carried at the moment by motorists would facility dramaticlly,But the heavy taxes levy against us in the Uk is ludicrous , VAT,Wages, Food, Insurance,Home improvements, currently it is harder to find -anything- specifically not taxed within the UK.
No wonder =born and bred English= are leaving within droves, and many, next to high skills this country can poorly afford to lose.

Answers: Its the easy sly road to raise extra revenue for the grubbing management - should do the petrol blockades again..

Sallie Mae discount interception?

Is Sallie Mae student loan considered federal or private? Can they intercept my tax settlement if I still owe money from them?

Answers: Happened to me. According to the article, Sallie Mae is private. Loonin and others say it should not be so unproblematic for such trade schools to search out loans for students. The loans, mainly obtain through Sallie Mae Financial and Key Bank, are not federally backed. And that make it far more difficult for students to get them forgiven when a college suddenly closes.

"Federally backed" still means you enjoy to pay. I be defrauded and the U.S. Department lone tells lies and excuses. They won't permit me out of the loan! Their reps hound and harass you. I've sent them hundreds of emails and abundant letters minus adequate response. Their numbers are simply to pay. No reps come on. I go to the Elizabeth Brant School of Business. You can't get a computer situation or an accounting job near only one year of "education". But that's what the arts school was. They couldn't find a worthy computer instructor; if you know computers you're not going to coach. I've written Virginia Senator Emmitt Hanger, who owned the school. The arts school shut down one year after I graduated for some off the record activity. No response from Hanger and he's still a Virginia senator. I still own to pay on the loan even though it have been over 20 years since I get the loan. So, you are right and I can sadly relate. There should be NO U.S. dept of anti-education and nearby should be no Sallie mae.
If your loan is backed next to government guarantee funds next the loan is subject to capture if it go into default.

There are several types of student loans. Many are made by private bank but are guaranteed with taxpayer funds. Those can be capture. Some are direct loans and of course those are subject to takeover. Loans made by private lenders and not backed by taxpayer funds are not subject to appropriation.

The issue of capture is separate from the issues raise in the coupled article. In fact, direct loans and management guaranteed loans (which ARE subject to capture) are MUCH easier to have forgiven than the private loans discussed contained by the article when a school closes in need warning.
Sallie Mae are private and federal loans...surrounded by the future it will be mostly private...they can just intercept your taxes if you are in defaulting with your loan...if you are freshly delinquent than you are fine...if you are in defaulting you can call the lender and see if you enjoy been export tax offset certified...if they read out yes your taxes will be interecpted...if they say no...after you have another year~

Why enjoy I never have a due rebate contained by the UK?

After working since being 15 years infirm until 30 something ? ?

Answers: I haven't either, and I worked for 42 years! If you are employed, and come below PAYE, that system is designed so that when it is correctly operated, the proper amount of charge is deducted.
PAYE repayments arise primarily because
1. employer operates incorrect code number
2. you haven't claimed excise relief/allowance to which you are entitled
3. P45 procedure not correctly followed when you change job.
Self employed people are more feasible to get a repayment because
1. Tax Returns are latter amended
2. Some of their payments on account are estimated.
You own been fortunate plenty to always compensate the correct amount of tax.
Its better to owe HMRC money than hold them owe you!
