Yes - it is - our local council surrounded by Peterborough is exactly the same - they rubbish our money employing notably paid executives that are idiots - they reimburse for ALL our councillors to have lapotops because the poor unyielding done by one's can't get to adjectives the meetings and so involve to be kept in touch by email.

Trouble is - partially of them aren't intelligent enough to flick a standard lamp switch on.

Makes me sick and some

Help near EIC?

My friend has a disabled child contained by PPLA (permanent planned living arrangements) that she pays child support for. Can she claim EIC for child. We live in ohio and I know my ex, whom I be never married to, is allowed to claim my daughter, provided he is current on child support. Does it matter if they are a ward of the state? Please insist on.
Thanks in credit

Answers: I don't think so, even your ex can merely claim your daughter because you give him green light.

The child does not live with her and it is doubtful that her support covered more after half of the childs expenses. These facts would disqualify her from claiming the child on her due returns.
EIC requires that the taxpayer and the dependent share a residence.

if the disabled child is living in a separate location, they will NOT qualify the parent for EIC. At best, the child may be a dependent beneath the Qualifying Relative rules...but if she's a ward of the state, neither parent will be able to show they compensated for more than half of her support so that's out too.
No, she can't claim EIC for a child who doesn't live near her. And neither could your ex even if he could claim your child as a dependent - he couldn't claim EIC for her if she lives with you, but you could if you qualify otherwise.
