Help next to W2 rates form!!?
so I just get my W-2 from and when reviewing it my social # is printed wrong for my last errand!!? I no longer work at the store that I got the w-2 form from. what can I do!!?Answers: You requirement to get an ammended W-2 form from the employer showing your correct social financial guarantee number. Your employer will then report your wages to the IRS using your correct SS#. If you can't draw from ahold of them, and its after February 15th, you can call the IRS, and they will issue a complaint to your employer.
Don't attempt to report this W-2 using the incorrect social security number as it will put a hold on your return until everything is figured out.
Good luck
Its impressive that you have the correct SSN reported by them as the rule uses this:
1) To compare what you report on your tax return. If you report yield and withholding the IRS has no text of it might trigger an audit.
2) To determine your social security benefits if you become disabled or retire. If they reported the earn under the wrong SSN later you don't get credit for the returns.

I'm a single mother who made 14,000 last year with 3 kids, will I receive a tax rebate check? How much?
Answers: yes, most likely you'll only be getting 300.00 but better than nothing.
actually you will get $300 x 3, because you have three kids you will get $300 for each of them, plus $600 for yourself which is a grand total of $1200.00! Awesome, huh?
