You have received money from the government, money which it collected from those of us who pay taxes. Why would you be entitled to file taxes and receive a refund (which I think is your question) on money paid to you from taxes?
Welfare is not taxable and not reportable.

I hold two seperate w-2's and I am doing my own taxes on a free website.?

I have two different employer E.I.N # but on the form single one slot to enter the information on the questionaire for the E.I.N # and I have two w-2. what should i do?

Answers: There should be a intertwine that says "enter extra W2s" or something like that, click on it and more lines will appear. What program are you using? You can enter as several W2s as you have. Best Wishes!
Keep within mind that only federal is free. If you hold to file state, ( which sometimes you don't) you'll hold to pay for it, usually $20-$30. The moral thing is that you don't clear until you are 100% finished and submitting the final return. Go to www.taxcut.com or www.turbotax.com and just do the rough and ready online. It walks you through everything and have places to add multiple W-2s. You can even squirrel away your info and finish it later. Be fussy going into a store or having someone prepare your taxes for you because they will charge you up to $500 to type within the same info on like peas in a pod website. Made that mistake one year when I thought I was making a mistake. I wasn't and I rewarded greatly. :(
