Shouldn't I own gotten my W-2 from my ex employer however?

It's mid february and I haven't received anything from him so far...doesn't he have to transport it out soon?

Answers: Topic 154 - Forms W-2 and Form 1099–R (What to Do if Not Received)

If you do not receive your Form W-2, Form 1099-R, Form 1099-INT, or Form 1099-MISC by January 31st , or your information is incorrect, contact your employer/payer.

If you do not receive the missing or corrected form by February 15th from your employer/payer, you may call the IRS at 1-8OO-829-1040 for assistance. You must provide your cross, address (including zip code), phone number, Social Security Number, date of employment, your employer/payer's name, address (including closure code), and phone number. The IRS will contact the employer/payer for you and request the missing form. IRS will also send you a Form 4852 (PDF), Substitute for Form W-2 or Form 1099-R.

If you do not receive the missing form surrounded by sufficient time to file your import tax return timely, you may use the Form 4852. If you receive the missing or corrected Form W-2 or Form 1099 after you file your return and a correction is needed, use Form 1040X (PDF), Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return. Refer to Topic 308, Amended Returns, for supplementary information.
It should have be post dated on January 31. Call an ask them if they have be sent and to where.
Have you moved since working for them if so it will give somebody a lift some time as the post office will own to forwarded it to you.
You should have gotten it already. Contact your employer or corporate headquarters to find out when they be mailed out. There be a story on the news a few weeks ago nearly how a woman's W-2 was stolen out of the post.
I'm almost positive that the deadline for returning those was January 31st. The deadline for adjectives taxes to be paid/refunded is April 15th.
the deadline for employers to transport out W-2's was January 31st. i suggest you contact your employer and politely remind him that the deadline have passed and you should have received your W-2 already. if he is offhand and doesn't get it to you by tomorrow, i would contact the IRS and report them. they will then contact him and i am sure you will receive it, but after your boss will be in big trouble. accurate lluck
Im pretty sure that they are required by law to own them out by the 31 of january

Sue their asses!

Are permanent resident getting rebate check from the US treasury?

Answers: Yes, if they have paid taxes they are just like any other American they just can't vote.
One article I read stated that Nonresident aliens are excluded. You check out the article for more info...

Hoosier, if you don't know the difference between a non-resident alien and a "permanent resident" you shouldn't have tried to answer the question.

A permanent resident (green card holder) is here legally, has an SSN, and is subject to the same tax laws as a citizen.
