Im a stay at home mom, can i claim my daughter and get some kind of refund even if i didnt work that year.?
Answers: In order to claim a dependent you have to show income (earnings from employment)and qualify as "Head of Household" (primary provider for yourself and a dependent). Then you may qualify for an "earned income credit" which would give you a refund greater than the amount you actually paid in but, if you didn't earn any money you don't file a return and therefor will not receive a "refund"
You didn't work, who paid your bills? They would claim you and your daughter.
If you don't pay taxes (which is essentially loaning the government money if you don't make a lot), you don't get a refund.
No, not unless you are married and filing jointly and your husband had an income. But, if you are a single mom and did not work or receive any income, then there is no credit that you can receive for having a child.
If you did work, there is a Child Tax Credit which reduces the tax you owe, an Additional Child Tax Credit which actually gives you a refund, and Earned Income Credit that is a refund if you make under $38,000 or so.
But, no income means no tax credit or refund for your child...sorry!
no, you would have had to have worked - or made some sort of income - which does not include child support.
Can anyone assistance?
can anyone tell me how much a belated payment is for a vat bill. i close-fisted how much is the fine.Answers: Generally you don't get fined although you may be charged interest.
Surcharges are apllied when your returns are behind but only for unyielding offenders. If you dispatch in two behind schedule returns within one year (even if they are lone a day late) consequently you effectively have a black flaw against you. Any late returns after that incur surcharges, starting at 5% and increasing up to (I think) 30%.
To remove the "black mark" you obligation to send contained by four consecutive returns with the relevant payments on the dot.
Ask the Local Government or the Local Council for help,
and explain fully almost what your problems are...
They are always at hand to help you (well, almost other...)
Thanx
