Taxes Questions and Answers

Are they qualifying individuals who filed in 2003 get the tax rebate checks?

Answers: The tax rebate checks are for money earned in 2007. So you have to file taxes this year on the money you earned last year to be eligible.
Supposedly those who don't earn enough to file regular taxes are still supposed to be eligible for $300.

I have 2 child, my household income is 18000.00. how much i will get child chedit and earned income?

Answers: How the hell do you survive on 18k? I know it is $600 for single, $1200 for married and I think you get either $300 or $600 for each kid
IT depends on a few other things (are the kids in daycare) how many dependents you claim on your withholding
etc
are you asking how much you will get back. I would say between 4000 and 5000
If you are a single parent, you wouldn't owe any taxes, and would get $4161 EIC. If you are married, and that's your joint income, EIC would be $4582. In either case you'd probably also be eligible for something from the Additional Child Tax Credit.

Do you have to file your taxes even if your boss deduct from pay check??

Answers: Yes you do. The amount that was deducted is very unlikely to be exactly what you owe - filing the tax return calculates that, and if you overpaid you get the extra back (or if you underpaid, you have to pay the rest).
Yes.
