Should F1 International Students wallet a due return?
I have a freind, International student beside an F1 or F-1 visa. She works part-time on campus and get her W2. Does she need to database a tax return to win taxes back? How would that work? She does enjoy a social security number.
Answers: If the total is more than $3400, she desires to file.
The $3400 includes any portion of scholarship that are taxable (the amount not used for tuition).
If her income is smaller number than $3400, she'd get her withholding hindmost by filing a 1040NR-EZ. (This assumes she's be here less than 5 years.)
You didn't mention which country--some countries enjoy an exempt income amount under the tariff treaty.

Can you get taxes back from department of unemployment?
Answers: Individuals do not make tax payments to the Unemployment Department; only employers make these payments. If you are an employer and believe that you have overpaid, you should contact them directly about obtaining a credit or refund.
what are you talking about? If you were out of work and received unemployment benefits - that's taxable income you have to claim on your 1040 and pay taxes on. On the employers side - you pay taxes into the unemployment system and you never get a refund
