Tax return ask. Only intelligent please reply.?
I need lend a hand with something. If anyone can grant me some helpful answers i'd appreciate it . OK if someone contained by NY makes 30'720.00 annually until that time taxes ,files for their taxes ,claims 2 children 4 and 5 years of age- no daycare fees. how much would that person get hold of back on average. would they obtain back more than 4500 dollars?? pleas minister to i need to know ASAP thank you! I would believe considering money that got posterior for their job would be alot at that, plus the 2 children ,...thats gotta be resembling 6'000 right or no?Answers: So, if you are single you would file Head of Household...if you are married, you would would Married file Jointly (to get stern the best refund next to that option). So, you start with the income coming contained by: $30720 minus standard deduction (either $7850 hoh or $10700 mfj). Next, appropriate off $3400 per dependent (including yourself, so if hoh it is $10200 or if mfj it is $13600. This is your taxable income. Go onto the irs website and survey for Form 1040 and find the instructions. It is a file that will pop up and you own to scroll down until you find the tax table. Now, look up the amount of your taxable income on the chart and resolve how much tax you be supposed to pay the rule. Now, here is where it get tricky. You have credits that can any lower your tax owed or bump up your refund, these are refundable and nonrefundable credits. I recommend going to a toll proffesional or just printing out the 1040 form and working it out yourself. But, the credits that you could receive are the Child and Depedent attention credit, the child tax credit, the secondary child tax credit and the earn income credit. You very powerfully could receive a very significant refund if adjectives the credits are taken correctly. Good luck!
You don't give nearly adequate information to answer your question...you don't vote how much was withheld for instance...you won't gain any more than was withheld and near is absolutely no method they withheld 4500-6000 in federal taxes...I made in the order of the same and singular had 2900 withheld(unless you qualify for the EIC, but even so I notably doubt your going to get even a small fraction of what your hoping for)...it's a toll REFUND...in that you hold to pay it first contained by order to find anything back.
Basically you would own a gross income of 30,720, you get a personal estimate of 5350, each dependent get 3500 (x 2 kids) 7000, plus a personal exemption of 3400/person (or 10200)...so deduct these numbers from your gross: 30,720-22550=8170 contained by TAXABLE income...you would still owe taxes on that amount so you won't even get everything that be withheld back.
In other words...it's wishful thinking to expect 4500-6000 rear legs!
There are a lot of factor to figure within. If you are head of household, use the child excise credit, and didn't have anything else to claim, you would gain back nearly what your W2 says that be withheld from you. The Federal amount, not the State. If you would like to contact me beside a more details I could figure out exactly would you should receive back.
I travel with my work. I was laid off. Is there an interstate filing for benefits? Worked multiple states.?
Answers: you travel for work but where are you actually working from? Where is your residence? I would call your local unemployment agancy and talk to them they will let you know exactly what to do instead of here where we know our info from state to state...Good Luck!
Check to see if the states require you to file a tax return. Some states don't require you to file a return. You do have to file each state individually. Federal returns you don't have to worry about.
If you are talking about unemployment benefits then you file in the state you are currently living in. They can get your info from the state you previously worked in. Some states however will not let you recieve benfits from their state however unless you worked so many hours in it. If this is the case then apply in your previous state.
My husband and I file our taxes at hr block yesterday. Today they call and said we get denied the ral.?
We got approved for the lime card and got a pre loan for $500 a couple of weeks ago. How come we get that and now we're not approved for the ral loan? Our reimbursement we're getting is $5,000. The man from hr block said we would get our check contained by 1-2 weeks. Oh and last year we get a ral loan of $2500.Answers: i would suggest you seek out a valid tax consultant subsequent year . most of these guys are part time some one you can trust who would put your interest first and aid good luck
In extra to a large EIC credit, if you claimed charitable donations that seem to be causing deeply of denials. Large EICs and charitable donations are potential flags for the IRS, therefore they are flags for the RAL. This is what I be told because I too, was denied for the RAL due to my EIC. I guess the hill doesn't want to loan an amount that the IRS may request back from you.
