Does anyone know anything just about assisted reimbursement (AR) from Jackson Hewitt?

It is the 8-15 day return. It has be 11 days and im getting impatient. I have be checking my bank 2-3 times a morning because I chose direct deposit. If any one out there have filed duplicate way..Please agree to me know how long it took for you to get yours vertebrae.

Answers: I honestly don't know about that unusual product from Jackson Hewitt. However, if you paid any money for it, afterwards you got ripped bad. The 8-15 days is the normal time if you report electronically and have the funds direct deposited into your narrative.

Once you receive an email stating that your tax return have been standard by the IRS, then it should rob 8-15 days for you to get the money.

Is my Dad still claiming me as a dependent on his taxes?

I have no model if he is! I'm not even sure if he's allowed to. I'm 23 years old and within graduate school. Would he be allowed to claim me? Is near anyway to find out for sure, without asking him?

Answers: Yes, up to 24 years matured, a full-time student.
Not really but here are some clues. Are you a full time student? If so, he is still probably claiming you. Is he still providing your total support - if so, he probably is claiming you. Are you still on his health/dental insurance? If so, he is still probably claiming you.

You could just ask him, motto "I was going to directory my taxes, but wanted to breed sure i wasn't going to screw up your taxes".
He can if you still live within his home and he took care of you for more than partly of the year..but, If he did claim you he would have to claim adjectives the imcome you made also..and the only path he can do that is if he have your W-2s.

If your dad has already claimed you, you can shift to any local tax service and hold them look up your social security # and find out if someone have claimed you as a dependant.

It would be illegal if your dad claimed you beside out having your W-2's to claim your income too.
G00GLE "Publication 17" online and read roughly dependents. If you qualify as a depended , based on the amount of support he provides, he can claim you as a dependent.

No, nearby is no way to find out for sure.
Why not freshly ask him? If you lived with your dad for at most minuscule half of 2007 (not counting time you be away at school) and you didn't provide over half of your own support, he can most plausible claim you legally.

If you work for a Temp Agency, do you file taxes?

Answers: You most assuredly do. A temporary employment agency {Temp} has to apply for an employer identification number. It is precisely the same as any company, partnership, "S" corporation or "C" corporation, whether they incorporate or not. Nearly all are employees with the Temp Agency until they are hired permanently by one of the clients. When one goes to a Temp Agency in search of work, one fills out the same documents as one has to fill out with any other employer, which includes a W-4. The employee of the Temp Agency has social security, medicare, Federal taxes, State taxes [where applicable], local taxes [where applicable] withheld. The employee receives a W-2 and must go through tax time. In a very few temp agencies, there may an independent contractor. But everyone has to file with the IRS and pay taxes. It is exactly the same as working for any other company, corporation, proprietorship, LLC, partnership, "S" Corporation or tax-exempt entity registered to do business in the United States.
ANY income you make is taxed, even if you received it "under the table" legally you should report all income otherwise you are cheating the system and screwing your government. if they do not send you a W2 call the employer and ask for it
