I have 0 dependents, I am single. Thank you so much

Answers: yes you will achieve a refund but will probably with the sole purpose be about 500 dollars and you usually individual have to retribution in once you carry married and dont claim enough for what you made or if you didnt remuneration your taxes through the year but you evidently did so dont worry you are fine. jess
simple do the 1040 for ur answer.
if u have need of to pay take a pt/tm job.
You'll catch a refund since your income is more or less low, but it won't be huge. There are free tax file programs on the www.irs.gov site you can use to figure it out.
Go to H&R block to integer it out for free.
Are you a dependent of anyone, like your parents? If so you'll bring back a federal refund of around $400. If you are not a dependent, discount would be higher.

Can someone pls help? if your w-2's was sent to an old address how can i get IT ASAP!?

Answers: i had this problem this year and last i moved last year so they sent it this year to my old addresss but this is a small town and the postman knows where i moved and i got it today. now last year when i filed i didnt receive my w2 at all and i called the company and told them and they had me sign a paper requesting they send my w2 to hnr block and why and they sent it over within hours so this would be my suggestionbut you have to send one of those papers by fax to the company good luck tax time is bad for this reason jess
It will forward to you, since when you move, you fill out the mail forwarding form at the post office.

did you do that? if not, then it will be returned to your employer and you can get it from them.

or just ask them now for a copy, they will make a copy of their record and give it to you, it's no problem
That depends. Does the company or payroll provider participate in electronic W-2s? If so, you can just file your taxes, and your preparer (or preparer software) can locate it online for you.

You can also check with the company to see if it was returned to them. They may also, if they use a payroll service like ADP or Paychex, be able to provide a photocopy of it that you can use just like your regular W-2. If not, there really is no way to get it ASAP. The company will have to issue a W-2 copy to you.
You have to call the employer and ask him for a copy ´cause theres no other option, The Irs doesn´t gonna give you any copy, Your employer cannot deny you a copy.

Percentage-wise, How much of the total federal due dollars shift towards military spending?

I hear all sorts of numbers. everything from 20-85% but not a soul knows for sure.

Answers: The federal budget doesn't procure parsed out that way. The elected representatives has several sources of revenue including individual income taxes, corporate taxes, and social protection contributions. Total revenue is then divided up among adjectives of the government's expenses. While these expenses do include defense, homeland security, and the "period of war on terror", they also include welfare, medicaire, social security, tuition, justice, NASA, and profoundly of others. Would we have adjectives of these programs, agencies, and protections if the government be spending 85% of its revenue on military?

The 2008 United States budget amounts to about $3 trillion, of which more or less $600 billion is earmarked for defense and the period of war on terror. This is something like 20% of total projected spending or about 25% of total projected revenue.
