In state taxes they witheld: $2,600 and from federal they witheld: $8,000

Why do we enjoy to loaf until FEBRUARY to go and get our refund from the IRS?
For those getting an education credit, you will be disappointed knowing the IRS, beside their billions of dollars in duty money, will not be able to hold your efile until mid- February. This means you wont return with your refund until April, May or Later. Why, surrounded by this technologically drenched world, is the IRS, YET AGAIN, pissing folks off next to their cheapness? Can someone PLEASE explain what the fricken problem is? Why they chose to pick on education credits culture (who are, by the way, subsequent to poor being they are attending college and taking out loans only just for books)? My husband be on a pell grant (in his 40s) and things be going great --- he was getting straight A's plus some extra credit -- and he get a .25 cent raise -- his pell compromise was CUT. Pres. Bush said - the VERY DAY AFTER we get the notice that he have to quit school (HALF WAY THROUGH) that "I did NOT engineer any cuts to the pell grants program" which be hogwash. I don't know how it is where you are but here everyone is getting out of a job -- maybe they hardly have any team left (but they're hold their lay offs a secret) -- obviously, I trust not a soul anymore.
