Massachusetts taxes and laying-off?
What happens next to my taxes after collecting for 3 months last year?Answers: Instead of getting a settlement you may have to earnings a little. Last year I get a refund from my federal taxes but I have to pay a bit bit for my state (it was below $100). I collected for 4 months.
Am I a taxpayer if I got a full refund last year?...by the economic stimulus plan's definition?
Answers: The amount of your rebate depends on your 2007 taxes, filed this year, not the amount of your refund last year.
Under the terms of the tentative agreement between the White House and Congressional Democrats, individual taxpayers would get up to $600 in rebates, working couples $1,200 and those with children an additional $300 per child under the agreement. Families who make at least $3,000 but don't pay taxes would get $300 rebates.

Sorry but have need of to ask again.?
OK I asked how much I would get hindmost on my tax returns if I made $16,000 at my ultimate job, ably I was wrong on the amount earn that year. OK so I made $13,981 all together and the total federal taken out be $1,547. I am a single parent, I paid out $2400 within 8 months in child charge, I lived at home while I was working and I own the home phone in my dub and I pay that every month which is possibly $125 a month. I got onto the hrblock.com website and used the calculator and it said my total return would be over $4000, is that right? If so I would be satisfied...thanks!Answers: After your standard deduction, mostly your child, you would pay 30% to the IRS, and anything state tax you enjoy. CA is 10%. Nevada is 0% state tax. lol
