I moved - how do I procure my GST cheque?

They sent it out and I guess it went to my frail house!?
like...how would they know i moved?

How do i carry it?
Is there a number i can phone?
What do I do?

Answers: Call 1-8OO-959-1953.. you'll need your Social insurance number, and your 2006 Notice of Assessment ( the blue rag you get support after you file your taxes) if you own it.. They will ask you what your taxable income from 2006 was.. Tell them you moved and didnt procure your January cheque.. they will put a stop payment on it, and issue you a untried one.. You're supposed to notify them when you move.. you can do it online. Another good foundation for having it direct deposited into your dune account.. this wouldnt own happened later.
I strongly suggest you switch to having your GST rebate deposited to your sandbank account so that it follows you where you go.

I have a 17 year old son that is employed, part time weekends only, can i still claim him as dependent?

Answers: Probably. If he lives at home, you're probably supplying more than half of his "support", so you can claim him, as he's either under 18 or a full-time student under 25.
yes. but if he made over 3400 in 07 you'll also have to claim his income as well

if he made over 5750 , you can still claim him as long as you provided over ½ his support. but he'll be required to also file and wont be able to take his personal exemption (claim himself)
Unless he provides over half of his own support, which sounds unlikely, you can claim him.

Tax Rebates: How much did you hold to sort within 2007 to qualify?

I worked 9 months of last year but it be part-time and I be a waiter. I just get my tax form yesterday and it shows wages earn for the year at about $2100. Whenever I read something like the tax rebate it says for family who earned more than $3000. In my luggage, I earned channel more than $3000 but my 2.65 an hour pay solely got me 2100. Do I capture a rebate or no?

Answers: No way to notify, since nothing have been finalized nonetheless on the rebate.

But your tax return have to show your entire income, including your tips, not just your hourly amount. So if it's base just on making over $3000 when they finally resolve on the rules, you would qualify. You DO report all of your tips on your export tax return, don't you? If not you are guilty of tax evasion.
You without a doubt didn't claim your tips as wages through your employer, so you're out of luck.

They're going to go by the wages that hold been reported to the IRS by your employer.
