Taxes Questions and Answers

1981 Taxes?

I filed within 1981 with my next husband who owed back child support. They took adjectives of our federal taxes. But when I called because I have 1 child and sole custody, I owed no child support, they said I was not responsible for his and I would bring mine. Never did. Long time has chronological, can I make them pass it to me now? If so, HOW? I am presently disabled and could use a few extra bucks.

Answers: Sorry to say no they will not. There is a (usually) three year aim to correct mistakes.

If you wanted that money posterior you should/would have file a Injured Spouse form.

But, like I said here is a 3 year limit,

Sorry.

Hope this help.
The statute of limitations for filing a reimbursement claim for 1981 is so long gone that most of the people who worked at IRS afterwards have retired.

Is H&R Block Prepaid Mastercard a big Delay for my rates contribution? PLZZZ HELP!!?

So I just get an email from the IRS stating that my refund is programmed to be deposited on the 15th or this Friday. My question is I e-filed my taxes on FEB. 2 and asked for my money to be put directly onto their Prepaid Emerald MasterCard, will this glitch my payment onto the card til after Firday or will it basically go directly onto it? I hold heard that it freshly goes dorectly onto it, anyone beside experience know anything about HSBC Bank and will they put it on their instantly?
Thanks!

Answers: From my experience next to HSBC it will be on the card within a hour of when they receive it. However, that be three years ago. So I am not sure how fast they are very soon.

Hope this helps.

Edit. They should own given you a form and explained to you how to activate the card...you will hold to do that if they still do it the same style. It seems that someone at H&R dropped the bubble explaining it to you (which isn't uncommon). The phone number for the activation should be on the back of the card too (well it use to be).

Can I do my own taxes then file rapid refund somewhere else?I used Turbo Tax to do them?

Answers: when you do your own taxes, you still end up having to pay the rapid refund fees, which are costly, but you can save a little by waiting 2 weeks or get all of your money by preparing and waiting for it to come in the mail or direct deposit. (If you aren't in a real big hurry)
