Taxes.If I only made $700 and they only took out $2 W.H. ..and I get S.S.should I file a tax return?Thanks!
Answers: Always file a return..even if it is gonna break you even because you dont want them to come back and audit you. I had a friend who was in your situation and didnt file, they now owe the irs 6 grand. so be careful and goodluck.
If you want your two bucks back you'll need to file a return.
There may be other reasons you would want to file. For example, you may qualify for the Earned Income Credit. Without more information, it's not possible to advise you.

I will earn 35$ an hour working Full time in Canada B.C..How much income tax will be deducted?
Answers: We just need to know a couple other things such as how many hours you work per week and how frequently you're paid.
Lets assume you work the standard 37.5 hours per week and are paid bi-weekly. So each paycheque is 75 hours (a) $35 so $2,625 per pay period.
Salary or wages for the pay period 2,625.00
Federal tax deductions 398.31
Provincial tax deductions 151.66
CPP deductions 123.27
EI deductions 45.41
Net amount 1,906.35
So after tax your tax home would be $1906.35 and your income tax (fed + prov) deducted would be $549.97
