Refund status?
How many times a week does the irs update their repayment status infor? also we filed 1 light of day before my friend and her return is All done next to ecxpected refund date 2/8 ours is still mortal processed? could this be because our return status is married/joint and there are more forms due to interest income, student loan interest, and mortage interest worksheets and where on earth hers is just a w2 next to 1 dependant? Today my status changed from a broad refund date to a direct deposit date of Feb 8th. I own never known the IRS to update on any other light of day of the week.
I think if you are claiming student loan interest or any of the revealing credits, alternative minimum tax, ect., that your reimbursement will be delayed. My daughter is claiming the Hope Credit for her college loans but she is waiting to file hers until after FEB 11 because that is to say what the IRS said would be the first date they would start processing those kind of returns. That is probably why your return has not be processed yet--hopefully it will next week!
I do know nearby are some delays if you have to use the 1040A schedule 2 form..that could be one grounds why but im not sure what forms you used.
I filed mine on Jan. 31 and Im still waiting on the IRS settlement status as well..who know its just drives me nuts respectively year!
I'm wondering myself because I filed electronically through the levy assistance program with direct deposit on 1/26/08. The irs is wise saying they haven't gotten it yet. I'm getting worried.
We adjectives have different answers:
I e-filed my federal and state taxes (Turbo Tax Basic) on 1/25/08 evening. My state export tax refund be direct deposited on 1/29/08. My federal tax discount was deposited this untimely this morning 2/6/08. The IRS website said that my direct deposit date was 2/12/08. The IRS direct deposit table said 2/8/06.
What do you think of Bush's tax rebate?
Answers: I think it needs work. The way it stands now, it will give illegal aliens a rebate, too. That needs to be fixed.

Mine also said the 8th yesterday buy now it doesn't have a date it says if you havent recieved your check in 4 weeks to call... what the heck is going on now?
