Taxes Questions and Answers

Tax. I've made 28,300 later year and hold 3 kids I'm claiming?

How much money should I get backbone on a return. In VA.

Answers: I agree with the answerer above...your discount depends on how much your withholding was. But, beside 4 exemptions (3 kids and yourself) and head of household file status, your taxable income should be less than $7,000, making your rates less than $700. You may be eligible for a child import tax credit as well, possibly dropping your toll further. Even if you didn't have any withholding throughout the year, the earn income credit of about $1,990 will cover your duty AND give you a nice discount.
It's difficult to give you an answer since you did not provide any information in connection with federal tax withholding but it does look resembling you will be eligible for the earned income credit. Assuming you are file head of household, you should be eligible for a credit of $1,981.

Taxes!! ?

okay i am single. i have one child. and second year i claimed single and 5 withholdings. i made almost 11,000. what do you think i will seize back approximately? and do you guess claiming that i pay rent help me?? and do you know how much you get per child? have anyone only claimed a child for partial of the year?

Answers: Well... You will get hold of back anything you paid contained by to withholding. Plus a EIC of 2,853 . Proof: Single deduction 5350, 2x exemptions (you and your child) 6,800. Those total 12,150 making your taxable income not anything. Tax on zero is nothing. EIC for income at 11,000 is the max of 2,853. Refund is 2853 plus whatever if any be withheld.

Rent is a non deductible expense.

You can't claim a child partially.. If a child qualify as your dependent than it can not be a dependent of another tax payer.

Also you do not involve to claim Head of Household since it will not increase your return in anyway. Since you hold no tax you can not filch the child tax credit of 1,000/child. If you be to make more income those 2 will relief you out in dodging income taxes.
Your best bet is to review information explicitly contained in the mail you received from the Internal Revenue Service that contains your taxpayer information.

As a single parent you are eligible for a number of file variations, Single, Single Head of Household (which process you have a qualify child). Claiming rent is not a Federal Tax item but a state tax item (in some states).

I am hazy as to what you mean by "claimed child for partial of the year". If the child be born during 2007 you simply claim the child. There's no 'partial year' claim (unless the rules have changed substantially since I have my children).

You are entitled to a 'standard' deduction of over 5,000 on 1040 for human being a single person, or of over 7,000 if you are claiming lead of household which will significantly lower your tax burden.

Additional information may be obtain on the Internal Revenue Website at http://www.irs.gov/

Good luck!
With 5 withholding deductions, you probably didn't discharge anything into the FIT, or very little. Paying rent doesn't get hold of you anywhere. You will get a credit for the child and pave the way of houselhold, if you can claim that. You might qualify for other child credits and possibly EIC. You can only claim the child if she be with you for partially a year. No telling what you might bring back back since you compensated so little into the fund. If I were you, I would redeploy my withholding to maybe S/01 of I don`t know S/02.

Is here an increase or bonus on levy returns this year?

I have hear talk going on for it to stimulate the economy. Any truth to this?
Who does it effect if it is true?

Answers: Yes, near is a planned stimulus plan where taxpayers can receive some amounts. But it is still a proposal and have not been enact into law

This is what the White House proposed http://www.whitehouse.gov/ask/20080125.h...
--------------------------------------...
Specifically, working Americans who enjoy earned income of $3,000 or more will be eligible for a minimum rebate of $300 for an individual or $600 for a couple file jointly. Based on the amount of federal income taxes salaried, that rebate rises as high as $600 for an individual and $1,200 for a couple file jointly.

In rider to the individual rebate, families will receive an further $300 per child credit. The individual rebate and the child credit phase out starting at $75,000 in income for individuals or $150,000 contained by family income.

MSNBC have a good article explaining how much you can receive from this stimulus plan

How much will I gain from the stimulus plan?

Nothing yet.

If at hand is a "rebate" is will be separate from your 2007 tax return and will arrive sometime this summer.
I heard we would be getting backbone about min of $300per child as in good health as some more if we were beneath around $30-$40,000.?
I hope we get this beforehand the summer, but the summer would work!
It doesn't actually affect your file or your return. It is for anyone that does work and pay taxes. The fundamentals of it are that a single person will receive $600 and a working couple will receive $1200. There is a bonus of $300 per child contained by the household, but I think in that might be a cap on the amount that you can receive. The check are due to be issued soon, but we probably won't see anything until April to June.
Yes, in attendance is a planned rebate that hopefully we'll receive in June, 2008.

It is an see year and I believe this measure will elapse. :)
