What website could I go on to tell me what date i SHOULD RECEIVE MY TAX REFUNDS?

Answers: try www.irs.gov.
i know of no such sites.

the sooner you mail it in the sooner you get it back

2 to 6 weeks average.

good luck to ya
For federal:
www.irs.gov
Click on the INDIVIDUAL tab in the upper left hand corner.
Click on "Where's My Refund" in the middle of the page.
Click on "Where's My Refund" again at the bottom of the page.
Enter your SS#, filing status and the exact amount of the refund shown on your return.
The website is very picky about the entries. If you make even a little mistake, or even use you mouse to correct a mistake, it will not find you in the system. You will have to exit the Windows Explorer and start over.

Some states have a similar function, most do not.

Good Luck.
Go to IRS.gov
Half way down on the left side there is a link "Where is my refund?" You need to have a copy of your tax return in hand to answer the questions.

In the state of Michigan you go to
http://www.michigan.gov/treasury/0,1607,... Michigan is # third in number of returns e-filed, so they have a pretty good on line system.

I do not know about other states - you will have to check their state websites. Should be on the home page for the Treasurer or Tax Authority for that state. Each state has a different name and process!
irs.gov or 1-8OO-829-1954.

If I lived in two states last year do I file taxes in both states?

Answers: Yes, you will need to file in both states.
You can file taxes in every state for which you received a W-2 or other income. Look on the bottom of the form for which states. If it is a small amount of state income, you may not be required to file. It varies by state.

Has anyone used h&r block simply recieve their refund the same day the irs sent it?I have National City bank?

Answers: Waiting for your refund until the day the IRS sends it, is one of their least expensive filing options.

It you pay their tax prep fees up front with cash, check, or credit card, the full amount of your refund can be direct deposited to your National City bank account, (or direct deposit to their Emerald Card prepaid MC debit card) in 8-15 days from the time the IRS accepts your return.

If you would like your tax prep fees withheld from your refund, then you open a temporary refund account at HSBC bank at an additional cost of $29.95. The IRS will send your refund to that account 8-15 days from the time the IRS accepts your return. The bank will pay H&RBlock, deducted $29.95 refund account fee, and send the rest to your bank for deposit into your account.

You can also wait for the IRS to send a check to you mail.

Anyone with previous year issues with the IRS, owes back child support, or has other financial obligations should be aware that the money owed can be with held from your expected refund.

Hope this helps.
