I've been researching and trying to swot up as much as I can regarding the balanced tax system that have been brought into focus by Presidential aspirant Mike Huckabee. Throughout all of my reading, I've learned how this system would affect IRS agents; however, how would it affect those who are and those who will be export tax practitioners? Thank you!Answers: If you want it that limited surrounded by response, they'd be out of jobs because nearby are NO forms to file. No more business tariff either.

What do I profile if I do not receive my 1099?
I worked for a small company last year as contract labor. The owner of that company go MIA and took all the accounts with him. Therefor, I hold no idea how much I made working at hand (he paid bread sometimes) so I am unsure of what to file on my toll return. Do I file no income or guess at the amount? If I put no income or a small amount can I grasp in trouble? What if I put no income and he get audited or something...what are my rights?Tax professionals please help!
He still have a week to get me my 1099, I a moment ago want to know my options because I don't deem he even has my address to transport it to me!
Answers: You should have kept annals of amounts paid to you. If the business is closed and MIA, you best hope estimates.
You must report what you believe to be true.
You have until April 15 to capture your 1099. He's just supposed to dispatch them out by Jan 31.
You can always folder without it (estimating the values) - you'll only just have to do an amended return (1040X) when you get hold of it.
You should always set free every check stub you got. Then you could stir back and affix them up. When you file your import tax return, you should claim the amount of income you believe you had be paid and later attach a letter explaining that the company did not convey you a 1099 and that it has immediately disappeared. The IRS may be able to find the company. Doing this will protect you should the business folder the amount as an expense and it is cross-matched with income. If the amount reported is more than you claimed, at lowest possible your letter will be proof that it be not your intention to under-report income.
If you can contact the person, I would give the name or go by and ask for the 1099. If you don't claim the income, the IRS could capture you for fraud and that would be a federal crime. Honesty is always the best policy!
