Is it true we get another refund check in june for taxes?

Answers: Under the terms of the tentative agreement between the White House and Congressional Democrats, individual taxpayers would get up to $600 in rebates, working couples $1,200 and those with children an additional $300 per child under the agreement. Families who make at least $3,000 but don't pay taxes would get $300 rebates.

Nothing has passed Congress yet, so everything is subject to change.
It's not really a refund check as refunds are based on what you report on your taxes. But stimulus checks which can be up to $1200 for taxpayers

But the bill is still a proposal and has not been approved yet.

Read WhiteHouse's proposal http://www.whitehouse.gov/ask/20080125.h...

MSNBC has a good article today entitled "How much will I get from the stimulus plan?" to give you an idea of how much you can get

It's not technically a "refund" check, but starting in May the government will be issuing checks to tax paying public.

Just remember, that money will be taxable!
The proposed rebate plan is really quite simple. ALL persons reporting at least $3000 in income receive the minimum $300 rebate.

Single taxpayers who pay more than $300 but less than $600 in 2007 Federal Income Tax receive a rebate equal to the tax paid. Single taxpayers who pay $600 or more in 2007 Federal Income Tax receive a $600 rebate.

Married taxpayers filing jointly who pay who pay more than $300 but less than $1200 in 2007 Federal Income Tax receive a rebate equal to the tax paid. Married taxpayers filing jointly who pay who pay more than $1200 in 2007 Federal Income Tax receive a $1200 rebate.

However, the Senate is currently fiddling with the package so all this may change.

I work 2 job. Is the distance I drive from my first position to my second opening deductible?

I go straight from one to the other.

Answers: Travel between two job in sooner or later is deductible mileage reported on Form 2106 and then transferred to Schedule A underneath unreimbursed employee expenses. You hold to itemize your deductions (sch A) to in truth take profit of the transportation expense if this benefits you. Deductibility on the state return may vary.
Yes, but singular if you itemize.

Irs next to holding money from returns..rearrangement??

my fiancee filed his taxes and have 1-2 day return done. The irs is next to holding money for the birth of our child last year. how much of a dely will this put on us getting the money subsidise. its only one creditor and one amount that can be salaried in full next to the tax returns.

Answers: This doesn't construct any sense. How is the IRS withholding money from the birth of your child? Maybe your boyfriend is not telling you everything. Child support have nothing to do beside the birth of your child, even if you are on public assistance. Could it be that your boyfriend owes other child support? I would really talk to my man roughly speaking this. Child support does not come after the father for medical expenses. They would come after him if you are receiving welfare and it is proved he is the father of the child and not paying child support. Only establishment entities (Child support; back taxes) can help yourself to his tax return. Once again, I would really articulate to my man.

Also, since you two are not married, why aren't you filing your own taxes and claiming your child?
The 1-2 time refund is a loan from his toll preparer, not the IRS. If they have put some sort of obstruction on it, ask them why.
