When will the irs be primed for lifetime study credit?
i was doing my 2007 taxes and at the cease it said i would not be able to seize full refund at this time because the irs be not ready for the lifetime learing/hope credit. does anyone know when they will be set?Answers: No exact times have be announced yet, but the IRS will not efile returns beside Lifetime Learning Credit until after February 11 and so far the estimate is that it will take up to 2 months to process any return that claims the credit. Congress threw a huge monkey wrench into the import tax code at the end of 2007.
If you are looking for a hastily refund, it isn't going to come to pass.
I believe it is Feb. 11th or 18th. I have like problem.
Can I still make a charitable donation between now and April and receive a tax credit for 2007?
Answers: No. You can still make a 2007 IRA or Roth IRA contribution before normal April filing date. But expenses and deductions for other things are usually based the the tax year they are 'paid' (too late for 2007 taxes).
No, you would have had to make it by December 31st of the previous year. If you were to make a donation now, you would gat a refund for it next April.
Income charge counsel for PA and NJ?
I live in NJ. I rent space contained by a PA antique shop and started selling items there finishing year. I did this mostly as part of my hobby, to supply off duplicate items I hold and things I no longer want to keep. In command to sell nearby, I had to catch a PA sales toll number.I sold about $6000 worth of merchandise here last year. In vocabulary of profit, after subtracting my rental expenses, tolls to go within, gas, etc. I made about $700.
Do I want to file a PA income rates return? Or do I just put this income surrounded by my Federal and NJ returns? Or do I declare it surrounded by all three?
Answers: NJ and PA own a reciprocity agreement in place so you simply pay income taxes contained by the state where you reside. That would be NJ surrounded by your case.
