Direct deposit tomorrow.?

I am suppose to have my check deposited tomorrow. My status have not updated on the IRS website. It does not give me a DD date. Anyone else experiencing this?

Answers: Yeah it collectively would say that it is planned to be issued on February 15 at this point, if it was going to. Call you wall first in the morning, afterwards the IRS.
are you going by the cycle chart off the IRS site? Generally, if the IRS is going to take home a deposit, they give a date. If it say that the return is still being processed, later you could be scheduled for a then refund due to the giant amount of returns being done. Otherwise, call for the 1-800 number and see if you can talk to a representative. Good luck.

btw. mine is programmed to be dd tomorrow on the refund site. That's why I recommend calling.
Did you carry your deposit? I didn't and was told by the IRS I would.

I'm a u.s. citizen married to an informal immagrant. How do I directory?

He doesnt have a ssn. and he hasnt worked this year but I enjoy. How do I file? I figure it would be "married filing seperately" but what do I put down for him? do I merely file collectively and not put down a ssn for him?

Answers: You have three choices.

MFJ next to both of you. Needs ITIN.
MFS with you claiming his exemption because he have no income. Needs ITIN.
MFS with you not claiming him at adjectives.

choices 1 and 2 require form w-7 and documentation. Mail everything to ITIN unit within Austin.

choice 3 requires paper return and record explaining situation.

If you opt for 2 or 3, you have until 4/15/2011 to amend into a mfj return.
I try to be thoughtful to everyone I meet. But this blows my mind. He doesn't work? He's immoral?

Come on.

Nothing hard roughly the question. Just don't want to answer a illegal-harboring woman beside a deadbeat illegal husband. Get a citizenship. There are proper ways to enter this country.
married padding separately

you can be married to someone who is NOT a citizen of this country it is not illegal ... guys contained by the military do it all the time.

if he is within the USA he should be filing for a visa or citizenship
he should start his paperwork A.S.A.P

apposite luck
It IS difficult to answer. I suspect the other answerers take the display that they should not encourage you to do something unofficial, namely "harboring" an illegal alien.

I presume you need to report for an ITIN (TIN = Taxpayer Identification Number) for him on a form W-7, just as if he be a non-resident alien or a legal alien caller. You can then use that number as if it be his SSN on the tax returns.

(I thought you needed to put the SSN of your spouse on a MFS return, so neither of the option you suggest would work.)

I probably should add that the PATRIOT ACT may allow the Department of Homeland Security to search out the real information aft your runeye.com ID, and further investigate you. You probably should take conduct to legalize his status as hastily as possible.
Does he have an ITIN (individualy taxpayer passport number)? If not - go onto the irs website http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0... and own him apply for one. That way you record married joint and carry the married joint standard estimate. You can't file united is he doesn't have at lowest possible an ITIN in place of a ssn. It doesn't help yourself to long to get so you hold time to get it in the past doing your taxes. If not you'll have to database married separate which disqualifies you for alot of deductions/credits. Make sure you put your name first on the charge return as the primary taxpayer also.

My wife put $8800 into her 403b surrounded by 2007. Can she still breed a deductible contribution to a IRA? How much?

I want to put $3000 into my IRA and $3000 into her IRA, making a total DEDUCTIBLE IRA contributioin of $6000.
Is this possible in flimsy of her $8800 contribution into her 403b in 2007? Our total gross income is beneath $65,000.

Thanks fo your help. (Also, I couldn't comprehend the worksheet in the IRS booklet.) HELP!

Answers: If you are married file jointly and own an AGI of less than $83,000, you are entitled to a full conjecture for your traditional IRA.

For 2007, you may each contribute (and deduct) as much as $4000 to your traditional IRA ($5000 if you are 50 or older).

These amounts are independent of any contributions made to a 401(k) or 403(b).
