Taxes Questions and Answers

Worked as a contractor, I'm a student... how much should I expect to clear surrounded by taxes?

I am a student, I worked as an independent contractor this past year and made basically under $9,000. How much should I expect to compensate in taxes?

Answers: Likely not much at adjectives, if anything. Assuming you file a single return, your standard presumption and exemption amount alone erases $8,750 of income. After that amount, the excess would begin anyone taxed, starting at the lowest 10% rate.
If you are a dependent of someone else, you will owe roughly $300 income tax, but you will owe self employment excise (the equivalent of employer and employee shares of social wellbeing and medicare taxes) of about $1272 assuming $9000 is your web income as an independent contractor, after deductible expenses. You need to use rota C and schedule SE.

Student Loan/ Taxes?

I owe about $4,500 for a student loan. It hasn't gone to collections even so or anything because i've been paying monthly payments. But i be wondering can they take my excise refund and put it towards what i owe?

Answers: I don't come up with that they can take your rates refund.

But I will articulate this, student loans are not like regular lenders. They are tremendously willing to work near you to make payments. So if you convey them even $20 a month, it will stop it from going to collections. They are at least getting some money. I would telephone call them and tell them your situation. Nine times out of ten they will work next to you.

I've done it before.
no wonder so frequent people met this type of problem. One of my frend own good result for tring the
resource.
