Taxes Questions and Answers

Can I get a rebate,if i'm disabled,58,single and disability is my only Income?

Answers: It definitely looks like it.
You will need to file a tax return to find out for sure.

My understanding is that if you do not owe income taxes and you have $3,000 in income (including disability) you will get a rebate of $300. But you will have to file a tax return to get it.

Not sure what you have to have to do to get $600 instead of $300

The benefit of increasing the rate of unimployment benifit for:a)unemployed b)society.c) cost of a policy?

Answers: Many reasons not to. If you give people enough to live on or more than about half what they earn working they aren't motivated to find a job.
Society needs to have people working to provide services and fill jobs, if you pay them to stay home the skills get obsolete and they become used to not working so don't want to.
The cost is the added amount plus the amount for people riding it longer and the lost to society from the lost production.
It could also drive up wage rates if someone got $7 for not working they might not work for $8.
It would also drive up the amount of people who cheat by working for themselves while collecting until it runs out.
There is a magic right amount that supplements there emergency fund but they know they need to get back to work as soon as they can.
