If you are NOT a US citizen or resident alien, later you would file a 1040NR. On the 1040NR return, you just include the US-source income. You still get the $3400 exemption, but not the standard estimate.
On an income of $32000, your tax bill is nearly $4000. If you had more than that withheld, you will receive a refund.

just want to hear your point of viewpoint on this.It is a bad opinion IMHO.
why, I know some of your are like heck 600 big ones free. Well no.
I am a branch coordinator making little over 80k, my wife works in nouns making about 40k. We work our as; bad and worked hard to acquire there. We live a fundamentally comfortable life but don’t live outside our finances. We pay allot contained by taxes we don’t have any children, don’t own a problem paying taxes to live in the greatest country on globe. But we are going to pay more due this stimulus plan, yes we are getting 1200 but we are going to money for it in the long run. I know heaps folks are going to be not responsible with this, I would fairly see it education lower income folks hand over them that hope, helping poor seniors and helping folks caught up within the mortgages mess. This would payout ten fold using this instead of giving everyone the opportunity to blow more money, BTW I am throwing mine in a compact disc this is going to cost us dearly.

As to the "rebate?"
The basic problem is that the entire $168 Billion cost will nearly double the deficit for FY08, this on top of transcript deficits of the Bush rule. It only represents 1% of the entire GDP and would enjoy a minimal effect on the economy even if everyone run out and spent it on goods and services. Many folks will use doesn`t matter what they get to pay envelope overdue bills or just dump it within the bank. Neither of those will enjoy any meaningful impact on the discount as a whole.
The other problem I own with the full idiotic plan is that as it increases the deficit, much of the cost will be exported overseas as foreign government grab up the debt. China is a trunk player here and it's not wise to agree to a country with shady motives control that much of the national debt. Add to that the certainty that those folks who do spend it will likely run out and buy some Chinese-made product such as a flat panel TV or computer and the supremacy to China doubles.
I appreciate the fact that at hand are folks in dire straights who will be rescued by this "voter buyout" but for most it will lone briefly forestall the pending daytime of reckoning. There are better ways to help those folks out that would cost FAR smaller number in the long run such as buying down interest rates on mortgages, etc. In reality, something like that would not cost taxpayers much as it would be funded by the greedy lenders who made poor loans contained by the first place and would not run up the deficit

It's not a tax rebate. A export tax rebate is when you pay too much taxes and the organization allows you to get spinal column the difference. This is an advance on the 2008 taxes that you will report contained by 2009. That means you will be paying more taxes subsequent year to make up the difference.
I don't see how this bag will help. The U.S. already have a stimulus package call war, the establishment also cut taxes and the government have been reducing the feed rate. Still the economy is going down at tiniest for a little bit.
If the senate wants another stimulus roll, it needs to spend $1 trillion more within the next 5 years to upgrade the U.S. infrastructure which is literally falling apart.
