Since the rebate requires the IRS to scan your tax return for 2007, you won't go and get the rebate unless and until you've filed your rates return.

If you didn't get the rebate surrounded by 2001, the tax moderation calculation be part of your 2002 duty return when you filed it. If you didn't own taxable income in 2002, you weren't eligible for it.

This stupid stimulus is more friendly. If you are not a dependent, even if you didn't actually wages taxes and made at least $3000 of earn income, you'll get a $300 check anyway.

Will full time students receive rebate?

My 2 children, ages 22, 20, are students that I can claim as dependents. Any rebate $$ for them or for us?

Your children also would be eligible to receive a rebate of up to $600 if they paid that much within Federal Income Tax. If they only salaried $350 in taxes (less than the $600 rebate limit), they would merely get put a bet on $350. If they had earn income of at least $3000, they would catch at least the minimum rebate of $300.
