I made 91 K last year and i am single, will i get the federal rebate check?
Answers: There is a phaseout provision for single taxpayers whose ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME (AGI) is above $75K. You will apparently lose some of the rebate.
Yes, up to $150,000: you will get the full rebate of $600 (single).
Correction: If $75,000 is the limit for single, then you will receive less than $600.
It doesn't sound like it - for singles, sounds like income limit to get a rebate is $75K.
Someone serve beside TAXES!?
Can someone tell me why my taxable income is 0$ but I am single receiving a $5 settlement? Last year we received a large import tax return check and I am surprised this year that it is only $5. Did we build too much money?Taxable Income
Adjusted Gross Income $15,105
Less: Standard Deduction $10,700
Less: Personal Exemptions $6,800
____________
Taxable Income $0
Answers: If you have no children your discount would amount to the taxes deducted from your paycheck. If you want to receive a larger reimbursement don't claim so many exemptions on your W4.
Well, within the numbers you showed, you did not tell us how much Federal income excise was witheld from your paycheck (if you be employed). You will not get more than you rewarded uncle sam!
You can get the taxes you compensated from your w2
Don't students procure a full income due settlement?
I always hear that college students receive all federal income excise paid pay for for their refund. True? My parents are claiming me as dependent and TurboTax seem to think the gov't get to keep $700 of my feed. income tax even though I'm a full time student. What give?Answers: False. What you "always heard" have always be wrong. You only gain a full refund of your income charge withholding if your income is low enough that you don't owe any taxes. For this year, that amount is $5350 - if you made smaller number that that, and it wasn't from self employment where the demarcate is much lower, you'd get adjectives of your federal income tax withholding support. You don't get special treatment for anyone a full time student. It sounds like you made around $12,350 - on that you'd money around $700 tax.
The answer depends upon two things. How much you made and how much be deducted from your paycheck for withholding import tax. Your full time student status doesn't affect it.
