I owe the IRS and they owe me..?

I owe $800 as of 6 weeks ago due to some missing W2's and now I efiled for 2007. I am supposed to be refund $6335 if not for what I own them. I am wondering how much they will steal out of my refund for penalty and interest and how much of a delay in that will be because of me owing them. I am having it automatically deposited into my checking reason.

Answers: They will send you a message detailing how much you owe and what they will take out, etc. Please allow an extra 6 to 8 weeks if they are mail a check.
Because it will be specially handled, here really is no way to give an account how long or how much. IRS interest is compounded DAILY and therefore you cannot multiply unless you know what day it is processed. You could try to call for their 800# or check on-line.

Answers: If you are file a federal tax return the rules are matching in every state. If your expenses are more than your income you will hold a loss. Look at the Schedule C it will show you what you can deduct from your business income.

Note: The IRS assumes an hum is for profit if it makes a profit during at smallest three of the last five years including the current year. If not it could be considered a hobby and considered not for profit and the losses cannot be used to neutralize other income.

This rule is in place to stop those from making up fake business they rob a loss on every year to offset their other income.

they don't get a rebate... and to people that are that rich a $2000 purse doesn't make much of a dent in the bank account anyway.
