Will I seize more money on my taxes?

I only made in the order of $6,000 last year, but I am a student. Will my tuition comfort me get more money or no?


Answers: You can claim any a tuition and fees deduction, which will diminish your income, or you can claim an education credit (Hope or Lifetime Learning), which will decrease the amount of tax you owe.

But if you just made $6,000, you're not required to file taxes. If you remunerated any federal withholding during the year, you can file to obtain it back if you'd approaching.
No. If you are a dependent you aren't eligible for an education credit, your parents draw from it but you don't. And if you are NOT a dependent then you won't owe any due, so would get no benefit from an tuition credit.

Is it taking longer than expected to return with your tariff return put money on this year? 2008?

We did ours online and we have be expecting it for the last two weeks ...but nil.


Answers: Your refund is probably delayed afterwards.. check the IRS website: http://www.irs.gov and click on 'Where's My Refund' to find out if there is a stoppage. Refunds are being subjectively checked for validity of the discount requested. If you see a delay surrounded by more than 2 weeks, call them. Best of Luck

You can turn back into your software & hit status of refund- it will detail you when its due in. If when you submitted you didn't distribute them your Pin # or amount of last years levy - you have to print & sign form 8453 (OL) & messages it in. You enjoy to get your testimonial control # (also off the software) & put it at the top of the form. Refunds are running in the region of 2 weeks now if you are have direct deposit. if it's only be 2 weeks, then it should come any time now.

If an employer mistakenly overpays an employee does the overpayment have to be paid back?




Answers: yes ,but by the amount you agree to pay,if you were payed 500 hundred pound to much,you can agree to pay that back at a pound a week if you wish ,,,,,and not by what they say .
yes, you should alert them to the mistake. They might find it themselves, but if not, and you know, you're risking your job by not disclosing it.
