Should i contribute my ex money from his intercepted export tax discount that i will receive due to child support arrearages?
my ex owes over $10,000. in child support for my daughter. he's claiming her this year. he also have a son that he is able to claim. this is one of the few times surrounded by the past 13 years that he's worked and is file taxes. he said that he has someone who is ready to claim his son for him and split the money with him (that track, he'll get some cash). he told me if i would dispense him $300. then he'll claim his son so that i'll get hold of more money towards the child support. i feel close to i want to do this just to return with as much money owed as possible while he's working and paying. but, i also don't want him to "get over" on me and expect one and the same thing subsequent time this comes up...although, i'm sure he will...but, i don't have to agree to it subsequent time. what should i do?Answers: Don't do it! As someone above me already stated, what he's planning to do with his friend is tariff fraud...illegal as hell.
I hold a question for you...why aren't YOU claiming your daughter? My ex and I own been divorced for 13 years, we enjoy two older teens. I hold never let him claim them...here's why: a)both kids lived w/me more than 10 months out of the year, b) I remained single--so I lone had my income to live stale, and c) he and his new wife be both working in the medical area and making stupid money, yet he never seem to remember to pay his child support in good time.
No way be I going to do him any favors and I sure as heck would never let him try to cooperate me into some scheme such as your ex is planning.
Look out for your own best interests and those of your daughter. Now that he's working, you should be garnishing his wages for adjectives that back child support.
If he owes you money, why are you giving him some?
He requirements to pay or receive updated with his payments. the lone thing he is doing is using you as a money changer. From his Taxes, to you hand and back to his pocket. Doesn't your child deserve to be financially supported?
HMMM
If your son lives beside you, although you can give your ex the exemption, NOBODY else can claim your son but your ex. He can NOT turn the exemption over to ANYONE else; that would be TAX FRAUD on his chunk.
I'm not sure what he's trying to pull. I'd purely tell him that if he does not claim the child that you will and he can pound sand. His repayment will be captured and turned over to you anyway so there's no explanation for you to give him any money. He's pulling a vigorous one.
Edit: If your daughter lives with you, YOU claim the exemption, NOT him. The with the sole purpose exception to that is if you impart him a Form 8332 or similar signed statement giving him permission to claim her. Tell him that he is not qualified to claim her without YOUR authority.
BTW, a court decree that give him the exemption in exchange for child support is contrary to Federal ruling. The IRS is required to ignore such a law.
I'd tell this bozo to put his "deal" surrounded by writing. He sounds dumb enough to do so. Once he does, record a fraud complaint with the IRS, using that as evidence. That should hang on to him hopping for a while.
nope, i wont let him.
first of adjectives are u aware that instead of u getting that money u rather dispense it to him even we know that they will OFFSET that refund cz of his pay for support for u. (whatever refund he will ever capture they will totally deduct that from his support support)...just conjecture about it... even u don't permit him claim him...u will still get his reimbursement AUTOMATICALLY...PLUS HIS BEING SMARTA55 TO U...cz he knows that if he claim his son..he will used that discount for him to LOWER his back support to u..WHICH IS A BIG LOST FOR U....ISN'T?

Tax implication of paying dividend?
I shorted a stock last year and have to pay dividends. Can I write this stale somehow? I have to settle up taxes on the dividends I received, so is there some type of tax break for paying dividends?Answers: Add the dividend to the cost justification of the sale of the stock. When you buy the stock backbone, the capital gain (or loss) will include the cost of the dividend.
