What is the different between capital expenses and deferred revenue expenses?

Answers: Your terminology is incorrect. Possibly you mean capital expenditures. Capital expenses would be expenses associated with capital goods, such as depreciation expense and maintenance expense. You may also mean expenses that reduce capital, which are all operating expenses. If you mean capital expenditures, this is the purchase of fixed assets such as buildings and equipment.

Deferred revenue expenses is another poorly used form. Deferred revenues are liabilities that will be discharged in later periods when services are performed or goods delivered, at which time they will become revenue. Deferred expenses are assets that will become expenses in the near future, such as supplies, rent paid in advance, and insurance policies. the rent and insurance become expenses as time passes.

The only explanation I can give you for deferred revenue expenses are expenses incurred in earning the deferred revenue, but an accountant would not use such terminology.
capital expenses relates to the expenditures incurred for the purchase of assets and it occurs at the time of purchase or modifying it, where as deferred revenue expenses will last for two or three years continuously....

Is Laser Eye Surgery a Tax Deduction?

Answers: If you itemize and it was not covered by health insurance.

The following paragraph is straight from the irs website

The law does not allow a deduction for cosmetic surgery or similar procedures, unless needed to correct a deformity related to an injury, disease, or congenital abnormality, to meaningfully promote the proper function of the body, or to prevent or treat illness or disease. Thus, breast reconstruction after a mastectomy or vision correction by laser surgery would be deductible expenses. However, merely improving appearance is not enough for a procedure to qualify as deductible. Hence, treatment of tooth discoloration, which doesn't promote the proper function of the body and doesn't correct a deformity, is not a deductible medical expense
Did you already pay?

If not, form a company. Have the company cover you for such procedures. Then the company can pay for the surgery with before tax dollars.

Smile all the way to the bank.

My site, www.EndlessLegacy.US offers forms to legally do this.

P.S. Always do things legally.
