Do I still hold to claim a 1099 even if I haven't received it?

I have two job, I received my W2 from one over a week ago, now I am waiting for my other one, it wasn't geared up by the 31st. I am a subcontractor, does that make a difference?


Answers: Yes you inevitability to file no event if you have received a 1099 or not. You would profile from your own records of your returns and expenses.
You do need the form. Give it a few more days it is not behind schedule yet.

How could i save capital gain tax?




Answers: By reinvesting in a property !
U CAN SAVE CG TAX BY REINVESTING IN THE PROPERTY. BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE SOLD BEFORE LOCK IN PERIOD OF 3 YEARS OTHERWISE EXEMPTION WILL BW WITHDRAWN.

Service tax paid for the excempted period can be adjusted for future service tax payable ??

Rule 6. Payment of service tax –

[(4A) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (4), where an assessee has paid to the credit of Central Government any amount in excess of the amount required to be paid towards service tax liability for a month or quarter, as the case may be, the assessee may adjust such excess amount paid by him against his service tax liability for the succeeding month or quarter, as the case may be.
4B) The adjustment of excess amount paid, under sub-rule (4A), shall be subject to the following conditions, namely:-

(i) excess amount paid is on account of reasons not involving interpretation of law, taxability, classification, valuation or applicability of any exemption notification,
