HELP!! Am I getting ripped bad??
I'm about to efile and I'm seeing 2 fee's, an efile allowance for state and federal ($18 each) and a "Refund Processing Fee" of 29.95. I'm using TurboTax which I did last year and I remember the efile excise but I don't EVER remember paying that refund payment last year. So it's costing me $66 a moment ago to file, resting on the $40 I spent for TurboTax. I made less than 25k final year, I can't afford a $30 processing fee!Answers: I used turbotax through the website and it didn't cost me anything to e-file federal return. However if you enjoy any fees taken out of your refund instead of paying by debit/credit card they will charge you a 29.95 payment. Also they do charge for state so depending what state you live in you may be capable of go on your state's rates web site and report free. I know if you have to wallet certain forms turbotax will require you to upgrade. You could try to freshly go to www.turbotax.com and forget going on for the software you bought and click on the basic free federal and try to record it that way. But if you do enjoy to upgrade you should pay beside a debit/credit card to avoid the 29.95 fee. Hope this help.
Use TurboTax to do your taxes and then print and post in the forms via USPS. Much cheaper.
When we get TurboTax it came next to a free federal file but must take-home pay for state e-file.
trash it and go to www.taxact.com i done my complete state and federal taxes and e-filed both for smaller amount than $20.00 total and have done this for former times 3 years

This past year I finished my final year of college and have to work several part-time job. I have a couple W-2 forms from job where I earn less than $500. When I walk to file my taxes, do I hold to report that income? Last year when I filed, I be told that I had to repay into the government because of adjectives the extra jobs I have and I cannot afford to pay into the affairs of state again this year so any help would be great.Answers: You are not required to profile. However, You SHOULD file if any Federal Income Tax be withheld so that you may receive a full refund.
If you are required to profile you have to report adjectives income on your tax return. Are adjectives of your employer's taking out taxes. If you are not making much money you should not have to retribution more taxes at the end of the year. Make sure you are taking adjectives the credits and deductions you are eligible for.
