Taxes Questions and Answers

Can visit to strip clubs (cover charge, drinks and tips) be used as a duty conclusion for business expenses?

Strippers do not pay taxes on tips, so shouldn't the tipper take a tax break as okay?

Answers: Funny, but yes. Do a search on any turn upside down engine and you will find articles about it.
Im indeed no expert, but the tax program I use(and enjoy used for about yesteryear 6 years) separates Business Expenses into three groups: "Meals and Entertainment," "Other Than Meals and Entertainment" and "expenses not listed above",which for me be scrubs, my laptop, shoes, etc.
Other than Meals and Entertainment includes: vehicle expenses(business miles X 44.5 cents, upkeep, repairs,insurance,etc),pkg. fees,tolls,lodging,motor rental,plane tickets...etc.
Meals and Entertainment includes exactly what it reads.meal and entertainment.
So-it would seem to me that you could include it. There may be someone out in that, though, that could tell you why you CANT.
I include every little item I can..I am a nurse and last year, my total business expenses come to almost $16,000. I even keep receipts from Wal-Mart when I buy ink pen!! It adds up faster than you contemplate! Good Luck!
What are you doing going to strip clubs during a "Business Trip?" Im only tomfoolery! Might as well own some fun when ya can!
