When I tip out the busboys and bartenders, can I deduct this as a business expense? I've search the web for the answer and in attendance are conflicting versions. My tips adjectives get reported to the employer, go and get taxed, and come to me on my paycheck. Every dark I fill out a form for the accountants to cart out specified amounts from my tips and send them to the busboys, end up on their paychecks. You must report your tip-outs on the monthly report to your employer. If you don't report them then, you lose the adjectives to report them at all. Since you appear to be reporting this day by day the tip income included on your W-2 should already have accounted for this.
