I own multiple W2s. I file the first one...?

online wth H&R Block and was quoted a reimbursement of $550 but as soon as I entered the subsequent W2 my refund dropped to $240. I am not making much more than second year, just a couple dollars an hour, and finishing year I received $1100 back. I am single near no dependents and making under 30000. What happen this year?

1099-MISC Independent Contractor?

Well I got a 1099-MISC form surrounded by the mail today from the company who I work for. I work for Burger King as a Independent Contractor doing looking after. I have be sending them invoices as it was requested by the owner of the two stores I work at. The problem that I see, if I go out to buy parts for the store, it would be listed contained by the invoice as well to achieve my money back. Well I counted adjectives the bills that I send to them be and he including everything that I billed for in the Nonemployee compensation including the parts that I bought for the store. My ask is: Ain't it wrong to include the parts that I bought to fix something in the adjectives compensation? My other question is: Is that I never charged taxes on anything, be I suppose to? If so how?

Also: when filing the taxes, can I include the tools that I bought to do the job with within the forms somewhere? I am using Turbo Tax BTW :)

Answers: Shane you are now competent to claim the parts you bought as expense.

As an independent contractor, what you really are is your own business. I believe you file Schedule C and Schedule SE.

You will be capable of write off mileage to the stores and to the store to buy supplies.

Part of your tools can be written rotten, part may involve to be listed as an asset and depreciated.

You will enjoy to pay taxes on the money you made if you are self employeed you would put the parts you bought on a scedule C if this be extra work you did outside of your other 40 hour job which you own a w2 for then put it beneath other job related expenses
