Taxes Questions and Answers

This is roughly the prior cross-question going on for claiming expenses.?

my son worked at the bronx zoo, he had to discharge for transportation, and for dry cleaning his uniform. he paid bread for all. receipts? also, if my husband is getting ssd, does he stipulation to file? also, the payment deposit was put into a dune acct. by my landlord, plus i collect pa, do i entail to put that in writing? pa is public assistance, or do i necessitate a budget letter.
also, do i stipulation to declare the $12 interest i own received? how would i go around making sure that my x-husband is not claiming his son, or trying to get over on me or you?

Answers: Your son could claim unreimbursed member of staff expense if he was required to own the uniforms, but he would enjoy to have plenty deductions to pulsate the standard deduction.

I do not know what ssd is. If the simply income you receive is public assistance and if the ssd your husband receives is not taxable you do not wallet a return.

If your son provides over half of his own support he should be claiming himself and that would stop your x from claiming him.

If you son did not provide over partly of his own support and did not make over 3.400 and your x provided over partially of his support then he can claim him.

If you and your spouse do not database a return, your x does not have a right to claim your son and your son does not claim himself, you could write the IRS and agree to them know no one should be claiming your son.
Your son can claim his dry cleaning expenses if he itemizes deduction. You live in New York, all right forget it. Public assistance is not taxable. You can't do anything about your ex. Let him and your son duke it out when their export tax returns get within the system.

DCN for 8453-OL?

I do not have a DCN number for end year because I have never file taxes before but the IRS is requiring me to convey some sheet that has them within it? Help!

You should only be required to do one or the other... the DCN is provided to you once your return is permitted.. keep checking your email for the status. Best Wishes.

How much due rebate will I carry?

My wife and I filing in somebody`s company had a 2007 on the same wavelength gross income of $4,500 and we have one dependent child. How much rebate will we bring?

I just file electronically, will I get my rebate electronically deposited sooner than the checks?

Thanks for your input.

Answers: Under the compromise bill passed by the Congress, you would be eligible to receive a rebate of up to $1200 if you compensated that much in Federal Income Tax. If you with the sole purpose paid $750 surrounded by taxes (less than the $1200 rebate limit), you only seize back $750. If you have earned income of at smallest $3000, you would get at most minuscule the minimum rebate of $300. If you qualify for a rebate, you would get an extra $300 for respectively dependent child.

While the rebate depends on your 2007 income, it is actually a rebate toward your 2008 taxes. According to the proposed plan, within 2008, taxes would be cut from 10 percent to zero percent on the first $6,000 dollars of taxable income for individual taxpayers.

It's similar to a one time tax cut for 2008, but you gain the rebate now instead of waiting to profile your 2008 taxes. Because this is an advance costs on your 2008 taxes, your refund subsequent year could be more (or less!) depending on your 2008 income.

you will win 1500 (1200 couple and 300 baby)
