How do I report my daycare income?

I made $12,000 last year babysitting surrounded by someone's home for their children. She filed for the daycare but in a minute I am not sure how I am suppose to file the income. What form is she suppose to furnish me with the amount on it? Where do I put the income?

Answers: She should contribute you a 1099. If she does not you are still responsible for filing your taxes. You would database a Scheduel C with your 1040. You will be capable of deduct expenses you incurred during the course of your business. Look at Schedule C and see what applies to your situation. Hopefully you are a preparer can capture your income down so you don't owe too much

You may qualify for earned income credit so be sure to check on that also
1040 (Long Form)

Do I directory NR for both states?

Need help.
I moved from Illinois to Texas surrounded by February 07 and made income in both states. Majority of my income be made in Texas but I did work contained by Illinois in Jan 07. Do I folder as NR to both states? Or do I file resident within Texas and NR in Illinois?

Answers: Texas have no state tax so no forms to folder there and no state due to pay. You'd directory as a part-year resident of IL. See Schedule NR for nonresidents and part-year residents. Just list on the form when it be you moved from IL to TX. IL can only rates your IL income...not what you made in TX.
