I own a rates reimbursement grill.I checked my reimbursement status on the irs website?
It said my refund be mailed on the 8th but at the bottom near was a document that said my refund may be reduce to pay a bygone due obligation such as child support or another federal agency debt. It did not enjoy this note until they said the mail the check on the 8th before that here wasn't anything there. So can anyone give an account what that means are they taking my return?Answers: That is a disclaimer that they added as of the date they intended to mail your reimbursement because debt is the last point they verify before printing and mail your check. It says it on everybody's settlement status (if they have file.)
The IRS would process an offset if you owed child support, federal student loans, or other command debt. I do not owe anything and I still have the disclaimer. My check be mailed on the first and have been received, but the disclaimer be and still is there.
Now, if you do owe. Then they will give somebody a lift all, or as much as possible, of the go together of the debt up to the full amount of your refund. If you do not owe - afterwards they kept nothing because you don't owe.
The relations above are crazy and do not even know what disclaimer you are referring to. I do not know why people answer question when they, in certainty, have no answer.
Ari is right - it is zilch more than a disclaimer and does not mean you won't receive your discount.
